homecoming observations
Our team & the band continue to improve. The Jumbotron production quality is also improving. The personel working the game tried to make the best in dealing with the construction issues. You can buy beer but NO hot chocolate, even though the display menu lists it?Who's idea was that?Cold rainy weather calls for that.I pray that everybody made it home safe through the rain.

Re: homecoming observations
Observations:
Good turnout for the Friday parade, considering it was mainly in the dark.
Enjoyed the Alumni Breakfast. Folks were very nice and welcoming. Everts was even stopping by and speaking to everyone. If you haven’t been, I recommend it.
It was awesome seeing Luke do the “Welcome to the Rock” and Cox and Duck at the game.
After their first drive, it was pure domination. Looking at their players leaving the field at the half, they looked thoroughly beaten.
Kudos to the students again. Loud and proud.
To the folks who refused to stay right to go around the traffic circle coming out of Duncan, thus blocking the shuttle buses and flipping off fans with children, Come on man!
Happy Homecoming. Beat USA!

Re: homecoming observations
I want to also commend Luke Combs for his intro. Our marketing/game day staff are getting it. I also (section204) heard the BOD more this game. Kudos!

Re: homecoming observations
There were issues yesterday. The starting line-ups had no audio, no scores showed from other games, the tailgate/hashtag pictures did not appear until late.
Also, if we cannot such the Yosef Clap during the team intro, we need to kill the video, regardless of how creative it is.
Not complaining, just observing.
Finally, can we move the dance team performance into the first half or third quarter. They are performing in front of empty stands most games.

Re: homecoming observations
Loved to see our defensive players wearing black gloves. Much more stealthy hands.
Re: homecoming observations
the lack of obnoxious music was great! The BOD got to actually play and it was great to hear them. They even played during kick offs!
Hope the ULM player taken off on the cart is ok.

Re: homecoming observations
I liked seeing the IN-Game stats, but they only showed them one time. Wish they would show them at least once a quarter or ideally, during every TV timeout.

Re: homecoming observations
Put the in-game stats on the ribbon boards as do most places. My biggest complaint about the video board is NO replays. Any time we have had a review, nothing, big hit, same. Its like we do not have replay at all.
Oh Yeah, and...Pet Peeve here, the power company ad..."Mountaineer fans can you feel the energy in KBS...", the damn photo they show during that is a shot of the Tennessee fans. all orange. at least get a good photo.

Re: homecoming observations
Liked hearing the band more. Want to see the BOD play longer between snaps. Keep playing until just before ball is snapped.
GIVE 'EM HELL APPS!
Re: homecoming observations
We need to get this right. Every team in college football is worried about attendance. One of the reasons people stay home is it’s easier to stay home.....and you get to see replays. Why have a big scoreboard?App91 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 8:32 amPut the in-game stats on the ribbon boards as do most places. My biggest complaint about the video board is NO replays.
