The thought just occurred to me: if we win Saturday and Michigan loses big, there is a good chance we could be ranked ahead of them.
OMG....their nightmare continues.
Anytime I am introduced to a UM alum, I intro myself as their worse nightmare. Priceless.

My company is based in Ann Arbor and has many UM grads. I work remotely and have my Big House picture in the wall, directly in view of my webcam.

Yep. They are really gonna be pissed!
Also - search App State football on Twitter and take a look at all of the haters out there. There are a lot of unaffiliated supporters as well though.

I worked at U of M for years. Had a big “Hail to the Victors: 34-32” poster in my office every place I went.

When you think about it they haven’t been the same since that loss. Carr was fired after that season, even though they finished like 8-4 with a bowl win over Florida. None of his replacements have met their standards.

I saw a guy in UM gear at the Carolina game. After we won, I found him and said "You're off the hook now." Didn't make me popular with him.

And Furman still sux. It's 2019. Can we let it go? I have.

I won’t start a new thread. But our publicity people I think are often the enemy. I will always cherish the Michigan win. I was there. And to put it in perspective I’m pretty sure that when LSU won this year on the road (at Texas?) it was the first time in their program history they had beat a top-five team on the road. So App win over Big Blue is truly historic. But we’ve done much since then. After we were ranked last week our own headlines were “ranked for only the second time in program history”. Just as appropriate And accurate would have been “for the second time in as many years”. Now it’s “highest ranking ever for the sun belt”. Does #21 for the first time in conference history really inspire awe in our in our opponents in the nation as a whole? Why can’t we proudly proclaim that we continue to move higher without the disclaimer?

September 1, 2007 is the first lesson in App State 101. It’s a great day in our history, but we are well past the time for victory laps. Doing so diminishes the accomplishments of everyone before and since.

Let them all hate. Our fans don’t need to respond or try to substantiate App’s football program. There’s no point in getting into a tinkle contest, you’re not going to change their mind in 280 characters.
Anytime I see a P5 or AAC fan run App down on Twitter, I tell them to have the (insert program)’s AD to contact @DougGillin and get a game scheduled.
End it with...AnyoneAnytimeAnywhere

There are no "Haters" of mediocre programs. Let them hate. I will bask in the radiance of their enraged-red faces.
