USC Tailgate Lots - What Time Do They Open?

From what I’m reading online the fairground lots don’t open until 5 hours before kickoff?

I live in Columbia. The fairgrounds may open 5 hours before kickoff, but other lots down Bluff Rd are open just about all day. Parking is expensive. The last time I went to the stadium I parked over a mile away and it was $20. Of course the closer you get to the stadium, it is much more and majority of it is reserved.

Looking at today’s timeline for a 7:30 game a few lots open at 1:30 but most at 2:30; so 5 hours.

For those of us going down on Friday, where are APP fans gathering Friday night? I'm not familiar with Columbia at all.

Fairground lots will open at 2pm. I asked a USC grad at the Panthers game yesterday and he texted a friend who went to the Vandy game. His friend said he got in at 2:30 for the 7:30 kick-off. Our gang will be in the Blue Lot.

We're going to be hanging out at the River Rat Brewery starting at about 12 noon. It's a cool place and within walking distance to the stadium.

We bought a pass in the lot at 1401 Shop Rd. I just noticed that it says "lots open 4 hours before kickoff". I wonder if they will be enforcing that? If so, it will scramble our plans a bit.
