Ours will be at least one floor taller and the seating will be elevated above the playing surface.

I just wish there was a way to bring our fans closer to the field on the sidelines once track is gone.

I know that I'm armchair engineering/planning this, but it seems that they could have had some idea early on that the track might not stay. Meaning that the east stands could have been built in such a way that at least the lower stands could be replaced with a shallower rake and brought in at a later date. Then all future builds are scooted to the west side, field house and field, when we arrived at this stage.

The problem is that the student section on the West Side and the lower East stands are the original seating. They both are on a shallow angle from the beginning. The only thing that could be done would be to totally rebuild the lower East at the edge of the track and run them up to the facade of the Upper Deck.

I don't see the base stands every moving. Don't know of a reasonable way to make that happen.
If you add seats lower, they will be blind to the field and I don't see people choosing or using them. Other way is to lower the field about 15 feet and then build them out. I don't believe that is feasible or cheap. Also heard there was an underground river running under the stadium. Not sure if that's true but I heard about it back in the 1970's.
