The USC game is tomorrow, where is the excitement? That gut punch by Georgia Southern seems to have knocked the spirit out of us. This game is a huge opportunity for us; been waiting all year to make this trip to proudly show my black and gold. The App State 12th man must be at the top of their game Saturday evening; we’re going against a SEC football crowd. No wine and dine UNC stuff! This is for real! Bring your colors and fly them proudly. No doubt we will play a critical role in supporting our mountaineers. Be LOUD and PROUD! Beat South Carolina! GO APPS!!!

I'm fine with the board being a bit subdued with this one. Talk is cheap. I see plenty of optimism in the prediction thread. I believe the team knows they didn't play their best game last week and that chip will be back. Win or lose, I expect to see a very motivated and focused App team fighting hard tomorrow evening.

I’m still sulking over the Ga South loss. I love the team, I support them, I fully expect a close game on Saturday and several more wins including a bowl game win, and realize we are still having a GREAT season, but losing to them for the 2nd straight year, getting knocked out of the top 25 for the 2nd straight year by them, and hoping they lose another game this year to get us back in the conference championship game yet again really sucks.
But when I wake up tomorrow, I will be fully ready to see the Black and Gold whip some ass!!
Side note- is this finally the last “chicken” team we play this year?

No kidding. This USC team is not better than the PSU we played last year.... not close. They do not have the weapons on offense. Big deal that they have a couple NFL guys playing. This is a very winnable game. I expect to see tempo and balance on offense and the ability to stop or slow down their run on defense. It’ time to take it to the Cock’s boys!

If we can force them to throw we win this game.

I'll be there with a group of 20, we'll be loud.

Leaving for Columbia around 11am tomorrow from Charlotte. Sat in row 3 for the UNC game behind the App bench and grabbed row 4 seats for this game around the same area, so I'm ready to be loud and proud of my Mountaineers. I left Kenan without a voice, planning on the same thing tomorrow.

I know a lot of friends from college making the trip down too, we're going to have a good sized contingent in Williams-Brice.

Ready to get down tomorrow and hit up some of the breweries in the vicinity of Williams-Brice. Hunter-Gatherer, River Rat (parked right across the street), & maybe Swamp Cabbage if time permits...

The brewery scene in Columbia is so meh. That being said I'll probably hit up River Rat early in the day on Saturday for one or two just because it's there though.

I'm bringing 4 down there. I think we will have a good group. Should fill up the App section and I expect some App fans scattered around there as well.

me and three headed down tomorrow as well. Some of the wind definitely knocked out of the sails. Personally I think if we had more flexibility on the bowl destinations we wouldn't feel so bad. We pretty much know how it shakes out with most scenarios. Kind of an all or nothing season but oh well, life and football goes on. Beat them cocks.

Ga Southern definitely took the wind out of our sails. I think everyone is in a bit of a holding pattern. Cautiously optimistic, waiting to see what happens.

I’ll be as lively as ever come Saturday.

Got 3 departing ATL in the morning and hooking up with a group of APPS from CLT. Tent and gear packed and ready to roll. My last visit to this stadium was in 1975 and I look for a repeat performance.

I think everyone is kind of feeling same as with the UNC game. Hope we can "crow" about this one too once the clock hits :00

It's been a very rough week stomaching Halloween night. I swear it seems like it's been 2 months since that nightmare. Nothing will cure these blues like winning out. 11-1 with a Conference Championship and a Bowl win is still possible, so Go APP!

That loss has definitely taken the wind out of the sails of our fanbase. Hoping a win this Saturday can boost us back up for the stretch run. Curious to see how this team and coaching staff respond to the adversity of a loss. I am still in somewhat shocked by how flat we seemed last week, just don't understand that. I am hoping for some positive signs of improvement in key departments. I think one of the toughest things to do as a coach is to get your team to peak at the right time, which in college football is the end of the season. Dabo does it better than almost anyone and the results speak for themselves.
