Bringing a 'name' OOC opponent to The Rock would have been great but I actually really like this schedule. First and foremost, it is a 12-game schedule with all DI competition and 6 home games.

I like the timing of the A&T game as well, I'm sure our guys will be a little weary after that trip out to Montana. Kicking off the home slate with a game under the lights for the second straight year is also pretty sweet.

The timing of the Charleston Southern game could not be better either. I love that we play CSU, who runs a triple option, at home the week before we head down to Charleston to face El Cid.

That schedule is brutal. October 5th through Nov. 16th is going to be a doozy.

N.C. A&T will not be the pushover we've come to expect in the past 6-8 years. Coach Rod Broadway's team is coming out of APR purgatory and will be one of the top teams in the MEAC. If they get their quarterback situation ironed out, the Aggies will bear little resemblance to the team we whipped in Boone two seasons ago.

So we get to face four option teams this year. I just LOVE watching triple option teams!!!!

I could have been wrong on CSU, do they run a triple option?

Just looking at their 2012 stats, they didn't have big passing numbers but it doesn't look like a TO stat sheet, although I thought I heard that they run it.

We had better develop some depth. With all those guys diving at our linemens' knees, and 10 straight games to end the season, we're going to need them.

Here's their message board. I don't know much about them besides having a really small stadium. http://chucksouthfans.com/viewforum.php ... 6a226298c1

Last post January 8th?

Good grief.

They clearly need a thread debating Liberty U.

Being the best in the MEAC is like being the best in the Big South. I'm looking at you, Coastal...

I wish the bye/open week was later in the season, but with the 4 OOC including UGA, Montana, Chuck South and A&T certainly can't complain too much. Gotta like 6 at home.

Rod was a senior at West Stanly Highg when I was on the staff. He will turn that program at A&T around like he has everywhere else; maybe not this year, but soon.

I like the schedule. Even A&T and Charleston Southern have been doing better lately. Sure beats Savannah State and Jacksonville's of the world. Also like how we only have one set of back to back home games this season (GSU and UTC.) A&T being the first home game and a night game will help boost attendance for that weaker opponent. Chuck South for Family Weekend also will bring in a crowd.

I do not like playing GSU, UTC, UGA, and Wofford in a stretch but if we can survive that stretch we should be looking pretty for a good season. I am thinking 9-3 or 10-2 is very realistic if we play up to our potential. Can't wait to be in Missoula Labor Day Weekend! :D

I like the schedule a lot. I do agree the last 4 or 5 games are going to be a grind for us.

I have a feeling that if we walk out of Montana with a win we can string 6-7 wins together.

Can't wait for August!
