Sounds like their QB may be out for the game after twisting his knee pretty severely in the 2nd qtr vs ULM.

With Georgia Southern losing, we must now really focus on winning out! Win the sun belt!

Now that all of our team goals are within our complete control, we need to grab this opportunity and not let it go.

Big time. Forget South Carolina. N O T H I N G That's what Gamecocks mean to me!!!

Have to win the SBC. Need 11-1 finish big time heading into SBC title game, which we WILL host if we win out. Let's get beat GSU!

#1-0 #BeatGeorgiaState

Based on their MB I believe they have lost a couple other players for the year recently. A safety (Lazuras) and LB (Curney).

I believe Ellington may be lost for the season.

That’s unfortunate about Ellington. I was hoping they’d win the rest of their games besides us to give us a semi-quality win. From what I’ve heard, they’ll likely struggle without him.

My take is this:

Our guys will be out for vengeance every game for the rest of the season. I pity the teams remaining.

Nothing confirmed but that’s the belief.

We need another great road crowd in Atlanta - they do serve beer in the stadium and we should be able to outnumber the GSU fans. Also note that Luke Combs and Eric Church will be in concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday at 5:00. Take Monday off and plan a big ole Yosef party in Georgia next weekend...buy your tickets and let's enjoy another W together.

That was our thought as well! We'll be getting down late Friday evening and are looking forward to a great weekend. Planning to hit a few of our favorite ATL breweries Saturday before the game that evening (glad it was moved to a night game, as it opens up the day a bit) and then hitting the concert on Sunday evening at M-B Stadium. My wife and I will both have to be back at work on Monday morning, unfortunately, but that 5:00 pm concert start will help a bit.

There’s a good young alumni base here in ATL. We will be there in force!

Along with Ellington, that's three of their four team captains who are hurt.

I hate to hear that about Ellington. You always want to beat a team at their best.

Looking forward to the game for sure! Although GaState was supposed to have sent by tickets via mail and I haven't seen them yet...

Lets go! 1-0! I think if we can play like we played the first 3 quarters on Saturday we should have a good win. And hopefully we're only playing GAST and not the refs as well.
