The pass at the end was caught, what do you think they do with that holding flag. I say it went back it the pocket with a nothing to see here.

I’m still shocked they couldn’t find an offsetting penalty

That hold was obvious. As poorly officiated as that game was, they were going to enforce that one.
Regardless, the only reason that was a game at the end was due to the erratic officiating.

It was the most astounding example of home cooking I’ve ever seen, particularly the first half. I’m so glad we won so we can mention it and not sound like Sour Grapes.

The only officiating that was worse was back when we played Wake Forest. I remember one time when a ref actually ran to get in the way of one of our players on what would have been a TD. These were pretty bad though.

I thought the same thing but that hold was so bad there would have been a riot had they not called it.

ONE of the major reasons it was a game at the end was the big running back, Edwards, was back in the game. Hobbling but still back.

He was a receiver, but the rest is true.

It's a tough job - being a head coach. Easy to coach from the couch. More goes into getting a team ready than most can imagine. What? 70-80 guys and a staff and keeping it all sharp and organized? 90% of the teams in the country at all levels find fault with their coaches. I'm glad we have ours.
Play calling may be the toughest part of the job and the fans don't know all that is going on.

Shameful is the only way to describe it

When we finally had a penalty call go our way we celebrated in section 17 like we had just won something..

The Bronx cheer was noticeably audible on TV.

Even a few of our players on the field were clapping in a way I interpreted as sarcastic.
