Got to love it when our Apps produce this body language from the oppositions coach. Pay attention to eye contact!

The poor guy should have waited a year or two to compose himself. That was tough to listen to.

All things considered he at least had the guts to be very respectful of App. A lot of “big time” coaches in that situation wouldn’t have done the same.

Also stated incorrectly that UNC only had two wins. The funny thing about the difference between UNC fans and USC fans is that USC fans aren't mentioning a rematch or how the next game will be different. The pervasive myth that the Sun Belt of 2019 is the Sun Belt of 2009 is causing a lot of meltdowns in Columbia though. I wonder if App had been ranked still if they would be as down about the loss.
A rational Vegas would've favored App. But South Carolina is a SEC team and lot of public money flows to those higher profile schools. Public bettors, by and large, are dumb. USC being favored to begin the week was purely a function of economics rather than a prediction of the outcome of the game.
One major topic most of them are also missing is that App's defensive line took over at the end of the game when the field shrunk. 31 and 24 were living in the backfield those last few snaps. For the two holding penalties that the refs actually called, I saw another 2 or 3 missed on that last drive alone. The announcers wanted to mention how Edwards was wide open in the end zone for the win while failing to follow up saying that it wouldn't have mattered due to the penalty.
All of South Carolina's receivers were hurt? Okay, why did you only rush for 21 yards? Why did you have two holding penalties on the final drive when you finally began moving the ball? Not everything can be blamed on injuries for them.

At their level, P5 SEC, they should have plenty of players to step up. They should have 3 guys at ever position that can match up with our starters. UNC should have the same and we beat both of them. No one off fluke plays, our guys beat them!

Yes we won because they were "too injured" while we certainly haven't lost any integral players due to injury this year. Yup that's the only reason we won. The end.

When I got out of Columbia, I picked up CBS Sports radio as the show was just starting. One of the first callers was a guy that was trying to use App’s victory over SC to show that anyone can beat anyone on any given Saturday. He shat the bed when he called us a 1AA team. To me, anyone that makes this type of reference, I discard anything they say about college football as a whole.

And that's where the misconception about what year it is comes in. It's also where being in the Top 25 helps. If App is Top 25 and wins this game there would be far less confusion and more coverage.
Regardless, win this weekend and App will be back in the AP Poll.

Half of our D linemen are walk ons. They have 3,4 & 5 star recruits throughout the roster. Some things can not be measured.
