Nice, short td pass to Evans. Seems we have finally woken up on offense as well. We start the half with the ball, another chance to go up really big with that first possession.

Zac is waiting too long to run!!!!!
Of the criticisms leveled in this thread by the experts, this is one I actually agree with. He’s tentative and I think some of that comes from the talk we’ve heard from him about staying healthy and running less. Ironically, I think the hits he takes on these sacks are worse that those he would take if he tucked it and then slid.
Hey expert, Zack wasn't tentative to run on that drive

With Navy having lost earlier and Cincy down 10 to South Florida late in the 3rd, we could be in good shape in rankings if we can pull away here in the second half.

That was a looooonnnngggg way to go 14-0 at the half. Still happy we did it though. D is awesome and it's nice Zac is moving around some. Gotta keep their D guessing. Go Apps! Keep it up!

No kidding - when he runs without the mental shackles, he’s better.

I really hope we put the pedal to the medal all second half, no quarter. I want to curb stomp these guys and put 60 plus on them.

IMO the wildcat is a wasted play
Wildcats and goal line fades. Not a fan of either.

Good adjustments so far, but to be honest we need to outscore them by at least 3 touchdowns in order to stay in the top 25.

I will have to challenge that. Numbers 19, 23 and 24 all lost today. I would love to win big but I think a W keeps us in.

Is it me or has Hennigan been dropping passes with some regularity of late.

Offense sputters out of the gate and punts but our D is still chomping at the bit and another 3 and out.

I’m pleased with how the team struck back. Plenty of game left obviously, but at 21-7 I was suddenly worried and they really answered well. Nice leadership there.

Hennigan has to know where he needs to get the first down better. Literally inches short of the first down. Another punt.
