Re: Troy Game Thread
There are so many different guys in the game now that I wish I had a program to see who they are. Nice to see so many kids getting some game time experience.

Way to go Willie Edwards, nice INT for you! Love to see the backups get their time to shine and make it count.

Wasn't he risking a penalty taking his helmet of while running off the field? That used to be a penalty, I thought.

The announcers were talking about cranberry sauce last few minutes of the game. Geez.

Yes and it was a prolonged discussion not just a random thought to be funny. Gave me a flashback to the PBS days.

Congrats to the players and coaching staff on an impressive performance. What a way to roll into the championship game. Very happy with what I saw tonight.

Finally, Drink opening up the playbook. We will need this to finish strong. Big props to Virg for a great game.

Re: Troy Game Thread
26 and 11 have really stepped up with Sutton out. Not to mention we've got some good guys on the secondary too. This team is going to be fine for the remaining two games of the year.

Yep, Henni doing what he does, Williams becoming very reliable and Virgil making contested catches. These guys really stepped up.

Re: Troy Game Thread
Not trying to nitpick your statement because I mostly agree but Malik has been the most reliable WR on the team the whole year. Seems like every big third down goes to him and his hands are just incredible (see the TD in the back of the end zone last night). He hasn’t been the YAC guy that many thought he would out of high school but man he has been incredibly reliable on big downs.

Re: Troy Game Thread
Absolutely, Malik has been getting open and making catches since game one and Henni has done the same. Virgil has always been able to get open but has had difficulty with contested catches. Henni and Malik just pump up the volume Saturday, Virgil got better.TomA415 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 8:14 amNot trying to nitpick your statement because I mostly agree but Malik has been the most reliable WR on the team the whole year. [*] hi
just want to agree that Malik, all season long, has been clutch! especially on the sticks on all downs and in the end zone.TomA415 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 8:14 amNot trying to nitpick your statement because I mostly agree but Malik has been the most reliable WR on the team the whole year. Re: Troy Game Thread
I like how Drink got into a rhythm with the playcalling and it obviously helped Zac. Zac went through his progressions and the results speak for themselves. He still throws off his back foot too much, and if we go up against a P5 in a bowl game, fingers crossed, those balls get picked. Seems like something the QB Coach can straighten out and we will be rollin!
