Interesting site. Amazing how many people flock to the P5's when there is an equally good team in their backyard.

I couldnt get the site to show App. I live in Caldwell Co. there are plenty of App fans there. Not sure of numbers.

This dataset is limited to tickets bought on Vivid Seats, so it doesn't capture all tickets sold.

I normally love FiveThirtyEight, as they come up with some great fun reads, but something is screwy about this data. No way that the same percentage of tickets bought by those in Ashe County for App Football games in Boone is identical to the # purchased by Ashe County residents for Alabama games in Tuscaloosa. I know it's just using sale date from one site, and I know that up until very recent we've not had much presence of tickets available/purchased on Vivid, as our secondary market is really just beginning to grow a little, but it still seems to be a big reach.

To me that suggests we're just dealing with really small numbers for all teams, especially in some of the less-populated counties.

Yeah pretty skewed, especially with those high App sales in Pamlico county, clearly someone lives there buying some seats, lol
