If Baylor can beat Oklahoma, it all but guarantees LSU and Georgia get into the playoff. Auburn would go to the Sugar Bowl and Alabama would likely go to the Cotton. Three of the six remaining go to Florida bowls. Which leaves three to fill out the remaining six.

Here is a scenario. Say Georgia loses by 24. Baylor beats Oklahoma and then Utah indeed goes down. Who gets the final spot then?

I don’t think so because I would guess the committee would feel that Georgia would beat Baylor. Just my opinion.

It should be and will be Oklahoma with their win. Only way UGA gets in is with a win over LSU.

I haven’t paid any attention to the talk about Belk, no idea if it’s a real possibility, but if it is the Sunbelt would be foolish to not get 100% behind it, we travel well but to N.O. We take a few thousand, to Charlotte 20k minimum

The winner of the SBC goes to the NO Bowl unless we get picked for the NY6 and the AAC Champ or Boise is going this year. If we had been undefeated then there would be something to speculate. That loss to Georgia Southern did us in for the NY6.

If we had lost to a top 10 team instead then I think we might have a shot but you can't lose at home to an unranked team if you are in the SBC.

That turned into a well played game in the second half. Cincy threw everything they had, but Memphis did what they needed to do.

I will not be pulling for them in their bowl game, nor will I be pulling for Cincy or Boise. I want us to be the highest ranked G5 once it’s all said and done.
