Why would Nate Woody come back as an assistant? Wonder how much $$ he makes at Mich?

Like a few of us have said, I just dont think Nate would be welcomed back here. I actually like Nate, but his personality didnt mesh well with a lot of staff/players in the past.

Nate is definitely interested in coming back. I just don't think its a mutual interest.

12 months ago, I was sitting in a hotel bar in NYC, after a really long day of delayed flights and client meetings, when I was finally able to catch up on Drinks hiring. This year, I’ll be sitting in a hotel bar in Ann Arbor, probably doing the same thing. Is this my new normal December?

So this year, I’m actually in my favorite Mexican restaurant in Ann Arbor (reminds me of late 90s Los Arcoris) and reading up on Coach Clark’s hiring. It’s a damn fine day to be a Mountaineer! Congrats Coach Clark and here’s to many, many wonderful years at the helm of our fine university’s football team!

I don't think so. I've read this particular thing in several places, including behind pay walls, but there is no further information. Never realized there was a falling out with Woody. Just thought he was hired away.

There was never really a falling out. If he was never hired away, he wouldn't have been fired (at least with the performance the team was having). It's just now that he's gone, it'll be hard for him to come back. That said, it's not a definite no. I personally don't think it will happen, but I am not saying 100% it won't.

Not everything that happens need to be aired out on social media. Pay wall or not. Some people know and can’t or won’t compromise their sources by divulging the entire story. Stick around and pay attention, and soon you will figure out who knows.
