Part of it needs to be paid by Mizzou as a home game in Boone.

That should be added to the next coach.’s buyout....double it to 3.5 from current 1.75 and add a home and home clause

Take the cash, do we really care about a game with Missouri?

Away sure, but I was quoting the home game component in lieu of cash. Take the cash and pursue a P5 that someone cares about.

That is where I got the idea. I have been beating that drum for years since a thread about Satt renegotiating his contract. I said put it at that time.

As for VCU, Oklahoma fired Jeff Capel so fast he was already gone when the Sooners came here to Richmond to honor their contracted game. It was a big hoot on local sports radio at the time.

That is why I said "part" of the buyout, that part being whatever the average revenue of a typical home game. No return game. No one cares about Mizzou specifically but a home game v an SEC team is a nice feather in the cap.

It needs to be a standard clause.

And that is not considered any type of incentive money but guarenteed money

Yes, I got that it was just “part” of the buyout. I understand how it’s good for mid major basketball but don’t think it works in the real world for football. Any chance Satt would have wanted to bring UL to Boone?

I can't even find out what the guaranteed money is. Can anyone tell us what that exactly is. I found alot of the incentive money relating to wins apr etc. He stands to make around 200000 this year alone just for that.
