2019 AP All-America teams

Gotta say I'm surprised to see names from UNCC, Ark St, and Louisiana on the all-american teams, but no one from APP. I guess the chip gets bigger!

I agree but Highsmith, Bayless, and Dotson are all very deserving.

I don't disagree that they are deserving either, and I know individual recognition does not take high priority with our team. However, I would have hoped our season would have opened some eyes around the country to the talent on our team.

Oh most certainly agree on all accounts. I honestly expect to see Jolly on the preseason teams, Evans too(if he is still here).

Evans isn't going anywhere.

Hoping to see ADG but, alas, no.

Not arguing that, but once that thought is out in the air I like to wait for the eggs to hatch before I count the chickens lol.

Those SBC guys deserved it. ADG, Jolly, and Evans should get some type of honor. I really thought one of them would get 3rd team All-America from someone and there are other teams still to come out. We will see.

For next year it would not surprise me if you see Evans and Jolly both are preseason teams.

ADG should definitely have made All American. His impact wasn't always on stats given the nature of our 3-4 defense, but the guy absolutely disrupted every offense we played. I guess his "honorable mention" will be his senior bowl invite and possible Draft pick.

There is no possible draft pick to it. For ADG the possible is he may go in the 3rd round. I don't think he lasts past the end of the 5th round.

Not sure if this has been posted here, but ADG is similar in size and NFL "hybrid" fit to this APP GOAT.

ADG is actually bigger than Coakley. Coakley ran 4.4s at the NFL Combine though. It will be interesting to see what ADG runs. I expect 4.5s.
