Imagine losing a bowl game

Seriously. Imagine it. Because that’s the only way you’ll ever get to experience it as an App fan.

It's not hard to imagine after tonight. We were luckier than we were good.

Fair. But you still have to imagine it!

What an incredible season for these players and coaches!

I don’t know, with the exception of the leaping call we made the rest happen, defense was lights out after first two possessions

I’m not sure tonight was just “luck”. We got off to a slow start but after the first 5 minutes of the game we out scored them 31-3. I’m all for criticism and working on mistakes even with a win but we dominated them tonight from halfway through the first quarter until the end.

Call Statesville. They can tell you how it feels.

Here’s a question about the fumbled snap on 4th down picked up by Evans for the TD. I’m pretty sure that a fumble on fourth down cannot be progressed unless picked up by the person who fumbled it. Correct me if I’m wrong and I will take it but that TD shouldn’t have counted.

I think only if the fumble occurs in the end zone.

Fumbles FORWARD cannot be advanced. If the ball if recovered behind the spot of the fumble, it can be advanced...at least I thought that was the rule.

I have a hard time imagining losing a bowl game. I do hear that it happens about 1/2 the time but have never actually seen one in my lifetime.

Which Statesville school played in a bowl game? Statesville High or Mitchell Community College?

Don’t you hate when you try to tell a joke in front of a bunch of people and you totally screw up the punchline? Cue the crickets- Statesboro perhaps?
