Wouldn't it depend on where you were sitting?

That’s right. New endzone seats will not have a view of Howard’s Knob.NewApp wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 10:36 am/\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 10:48 amBump for all you "It will ruin the view of Howard's Knob" naysayers

Re: NEZ work today
When it starts can some Boone-livers please post some photos and videos of the track being removed? I’d love to head up and volunteer an hour or so of my time to get my Rocco’s Modern Life on.

Re: NEZ work today
IMOp. it shouldn't have been removed until a new one was built. We don't even have a home outdoor track. Not very reflective of a university which deems itself (and I do, also) a premier member of the Sun Belt. Maybe the cutting of the three men's programs will free up some money to build one off 105 at the old WHS site.

You could always buy season tickets to make sure you get that perfect view, or start a new ISO thread on the ticket exchange. You're familiar with how to start a new thread, right?NewApp wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 10:36 am/\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 10:48 amBump for all you "It will ruin the view of Howard's Knob" naysayers

Haven't left. So what's your point? I've posted several over the last few weeks.

Re: NEZ work today
I highly doubt the people in charge of an upper end mid-major program do not have a plan for everything they are doing. Removing the track is part of the plan and I am sure they have a plan in place for our track team to do their thing. If you want to bash them it wouldn't really be reflective if they were supposed to look in to the future to see potential problems. That is called foresight. Reflective would be looking back on everything when its done and realizing "Crap we spent all that time and money removing that track and we never bothered to find a new place for our team!" Something tells me that isn't the case.NewApp wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 4:26 pmIMOp. it shouldn't have been removed until a new one was built. We don't even have a home outdoor track. I don't care to see it during a game and never said as much and didn't start the thread about the view.

Where did I criticize anybody in the Admin? Do you dispute what I said or just trolling?appdaze wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 6:57 pmI highly doubt the people in charge of an upper end mid-major program do not have a plan for everything they are doing. Re: NEZ work today
NewApp...you implied that planning mistakes were made. Our administrators are the ones making those decisions. Ergo, you criticized them for poor planning. Appdaze suggested that maybe, just maybe, they aren't just winging it...as you implied. Even the best laid construction plans get off course or see delays. Let alone those that are plagued with uncooperative land sellers, budget concerns, and global pandemics.

The beginnings of the concept of the track removal started with Charlie Cobb, not Gilliam.
I believe we already own the property at the old WHS site. Not sure though.

Re: NEZ work today
It's hard to believe that someone who spends so much time on this board can be oblivious to:
A. The spelling of our AD's name; and
B. The fact that the old WHS "App 105" track and field complex has already been planned and renderings have been available for months.
He keeps finding new ways to surprise you, even when you think he can't.

Has anyone seen the M. Night Shyamalan movie "Split" staring James McAvoy and his 23 observed personalities?SayYesToTheRock wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 11:57 pmIt's hard to believe that someone who spends so much time on this board can be oblivious to:
