We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Wake Forest QB headed to Georgia

WF will be without their starting quarterback next season. Taking 32 touchdowns and 3,400 yards last season with him to Georgia. Will be interesting to see who the backup will be.

I heard Zac Thomas is pretty good, he and the four horsemen at WR are all returning for their senior seasons.

When you say it like that makes me realize we lose essentially the entire offense after this year wow

We’ve recruited 7 WRs in the last three years and will have three QBs fighting for QB1 in 2021. We’ll have guys step up.

Re: Wake Forest QB headed to Georgia
We are definitely stacked. Thomas has been my favorite QB to watch (I came to App after Edwards). The man is MONEY at winning. BUT I am excited to see who the next man up will be following next year. Thomas said Lamb coached him heavily and he learned a ton, you can definitely see that on the field. Hopefully we have someone as good as both of them coming up, flawless years.
My question is, who is the next to take place of Evans?!? We need that QUICK. Harrington?

Re: Wake Forest QB headed to Georgia
We’re fine at RB. QB is a question mark, but that’s normal; not many places where the backup gets much experience there.
WR, OL and DL are legit concerns. Yes we have recruited players there, but that doesn’t tell us anything about whether they’re good enough to help us win. Not much size at WR after this year either.
Ideally you’d like to see those young players on the 2-deep this past year (other than OL who were redshirting), but for the most part they were beaten out by older walk-ons and career backups.

Re: Wake Forest QB headed to Georgia
I'd been waiting all year to see "it" since the 2018 NO Bowl, and he got hurt on about his 3-4th carry. So what's another 225 days or so from now of waiting again?
Not knocking our other runners, because we are fortunately blessed with danged good ones.

And don't forget that many questions were out there about Lamb's replacement, who was going to step in as a starter for the first time in a hostile environment in State College, PA.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 10:35 amWe’re fine at RB. Re: Wake Forest QB headed to Georgia
Really need to reinforce the trenches on both sides of the ball. Our secondary and Linebackers have been consistently top in the sun belt since we came up but our d line has struggled. Need another Myquon Stout to come out of the woodwork. Good news is we get Chris Willis back next year and him plus Meech is a dangerous combo.
Back to the topic though, Georgia will be dangerous. Hartman is no slouch though and it’s going to be a lot harder game then I think most people think when we go down the mountain to Winston in the falll.

3 of our top d-linemen were out this year. Not only Willis, but also Markell Clark and Jordon Earle, who made the huge stop at the goal line at ULL. I believe he was out for almost the entire season though.TomA415 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 3:12 amReally need to reinforce the trenches on both sides of the ball. Clark’s career is over. I don’t believe Earle was injured; he just wasn’t able to crack the regular rotation.app97 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 9:54 am3 of our top d-linemen were out this year.
