App vs ECU getting bumped

I slept for all of 30-minutes Friday night before the 2009 game. Perhaps that is why my memory of the heat being unbearable is burned.

I was in a similar boat, my friend on the football video staff told me he had tickets for me around 10pm that Friday. I hopped in the car at midnight and drove down, walked into the house my friends were staying at around 4am and they were still all partying.

Somehow made it out downtown that night too, it was a very long day.

Sounds like we get a higher percentage of the gate, which could be very beneficial or it could be less than a Saturday home game at the Rock. Only time will tell.

Doesn't say how it is beneficial. Color me skeptical.

So I just back from the UNCC-ECU (in charlotte) baseball game. It was sold out and 80% ECU. Looks like they have a great following. That opening day game in 2021 should be great! Both teams should fill the stadium regardless of the day change.

I agree. That is the most likely element that changed with a renegotiated contract. Splits the monetary risk amongst the two parties.

I have heard folks who have spoke to Doug Gillian about the matter have said that we are receiving "financial compensation" but no details as to what. But I believe it's a larger cut of the gate than before.

You are probably correct...I should have clarified and said that there should be a good amount of people there no matter what the day based on the following of both fan bases.
