CENTRAL TIME!?!?!?! REGIONAL REALIGNMENT NOW!

(Just kidding. But I did get excited thinking we'd get that sweet off-season dopamine hit in 17 short minutes, only to be stymied by time zones.)

If it gets 40 pages long, I probably will start a new one.

Disgusting, Keith Gill is a coward, and get us the heck out of this garbage conference immediately

This schedule works great for me. Only downer is the Wed home game.

Tuff stretch in the middle, Cajuns, Eagles, Red Wolfs.

A Wed night home game sucks but it gives the conference a chance to showcase their two best teams, and it gives App a chance to showcase the upgraded facilities.

I thought Thursday was bad. Two Wed ones in a row...

Back to back Wednesday night games. Super.

To borrow a line from (I believe) Chuck...we've gotta get out of this place!

Can Everts go ahead and cancel Wednesday (afternoon) classes for the home tilt so we don't have to hear and talk about the same ole' complaints?

This schedule is terrible. Wednesday night home game is nearly impossible for us. And is that a home game on thanksgiving weekend when students will be home?

2 Wednesday night games and 2 days after Turkey Day....yea, someone's trying to kill the home field advantage for these more difficult games.

Also, we finally get a week to prepare for GaSo, so that's a plus.

First glance- Ark State for Homecoming?
Unbalanced with a critical stretch in October and blah November.
Troy game here the Saturday after Thanksgiving- yuck.
Wednesdays - yuck.
If we are 7-0 on 10/24, I’m packing for Dallas and the Cotton Bowl.

There are two positives to the back-to-back Wednesday games.
1. App will have a full week to prepare for GA Southern as opposed to a short week like in year's past.
2. It's almost a guarantee those games will be nationally televised on ESPN.

But that's it. Those are the only positives I can think of. So, on Oct. 7th the whole country will get to see 15,000 people in Kidd Brewer, and the next week they will see 7,000 people in Statesboro.

I hope 15,000 can make it for a midweek game. This will mean taking off 2 days of work for some of us.

Like all schedules there are good and bad with this one. The good- Wisconsin (supposed to be a great college town and amazing stadium with great crowd), game at Wake (another winnable ACC game in close travel distance to most alum), 10 days to prepare for the best of the west (ULL and STATE), only one weekday home game, most difficult conference foes are at the Rock. The Bad- Wake on Friday night, two Wednesday night games, home game Thanksgiving weekend, and Morgan State does nothing for me (I don't even know where they are located or anything about the school). There may be some more bad that I haven't mentioned but all and all I think the good outweighs the bad with this schedule.

We had to expect a home Wednesday game at some point. Really no different for me than a Thursday game as far as time needed off for work. At least with a Wednesday game there's no short week of game prep for the team (unlike Thursday games). This will help vs Ga Southern the following week (although they are off the week before which will give them a couple more days of prep time). Overall I like the spacing of the home games (i.e. no back to back home game weeks). I wish we had one more October Saturday game though.

Home games on Thanksgiving weekend are going to happen every other year. Get used to it.
