Quarantine update: Currently watching the infamous 2008 Wofford - Halloween game. What a game. Easily Top 3, and maybe the most fun I’ve ever had at a game inside KBS. The atmosphere was absolutely electric, and we steamrolled those fools.

I’m not in quarantine, I’m working and will be until it’s over or I can’t. It’s been a month now without a full day off. I come here for a break and some normalcy. The past season seems a decade ago at this point but remembering it brings a smile. And that ain’t nothing. Stay home if you can , and keep the faith.

Agree...best time I have had at an AppState event. UNC and South Carolina were close. Something special about ESPN being there for a football game.
Was it the first football game ESPN had covered???

No

Here are the first three TV games App played in away or home.

Date Network Opponent Score
Oct. 20, 1976 ABC at East Carolina L, 35-7
Oct. 18, 1978 ABC at Western Carolina W, 39-13
Sept. 22, 1979 ESPN Western Carolina W, 35-27

Technically Wofford was ESPN2. Either way it was a heck of a fun game that my family almost missed. I left our tickets at home and had to make a few phone calls at the ticket gate and they let us in. We were on the hill so not like I was tring to get into the Chancellor's seats. My daughters are still unhappy about missing tick-or-treat though.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

I have no problem staying busy, my schedule has not changed. I am a paramedic and our call volume has definitely not gone down. Trying to stay healthy cause I have an 8 year old with CP which keeps me busy on my off days. My ex is a firefighter so she is on the front lines as well. Honestly, we could use a prayer or two because it's going to be a challenge to keep my boy well. Keep your distance folks and wash your hands. Go Apps!!
I do not want to be cliche' here, but seriously, thank you for what you do. I know it is dangerous and moreso now. Just know that you are prayed for and thanked each time you go out.
