That'll teach that ticket office staffer! Next time he'll know better than to schedule one of our six home games on a weeknight.
What? I wasn't blaming him. It's just that season tickets are of absolutely no value to me if the games are on days or nights which aren't Saturdays.
I mean, how dare you support the athletic program you say you love so much... God forbid some games don't fit YOUR schedule...

I understand now. Buying season tickets is the ONLY way to show my love and support of our and my support of our beloved alma mater???????

Whether you meant it or not, the original post comes off as is you were being a smarta$$ to the person that called. If not, good, glad you wouldn't do that to the poor guy doing his job.

Huh.. forgot I said it was the only way. This virus must be making me lose my mind. You bitch and complain about people putting words in your mouth, but yet, here you are doing the same thing.

The bottom line is what you said to the poor guy doing his job is narcissistic, pompous, arrogant, and down right rude. Again, God forbid a schedule doesn't fit your schedule -- how dare the guy doing his job even think about calling people to see if they want season tickets.

If that's how you feel about getting season tickets, that's your right. But don't take it out on someone tasked to call potential season ticket holders. That person has as much influence on the schedule as we do. A simple "no thank you. The schedule usually doesn't fit my schedule, so I don't want to commit to something without knowing the game times" would be more than enough -- and not so egocentric.

I was extremely polite, cordial, etc to the guy. In effect, I have been buying season tickets to App games for years by buying the extras from members of this forum.

Whenever I'm perfectly cordial to someone, I immediately get on a message board and talk trash about the encounter and fully expect a pat on the back from everyone who reads it.

Maybe its time for another hiatus, or at least a new screen name.

Baiting everyone? Only baiting I ever do is baiting live fish in fresh water. Crappie and bream and some sun perch.

Never talked trash to him. I was sincere and even told the dude I would pass the word that if I heard of anyone who could afford or needed season tickets, I would refer them to App. Period.

A person from App called me this morning hawking season tickets. I told him I would buy the most expensive ones he could offer if he would guarantee me that all games would be played on Saturday afternoons or even Saturday nights. Of course he couldn't do that, so I wished him a good day, to stay safe, and GoApps!
Why do you post something this stupid and not expect negative feedback? I try to support you but it's becoming increasingly more difficult. Stay safe and Go Apps!!!

Not an ounce of those words were twisted champ. No one has to twist your words for you to clearly show you were being a smart aleck to the poor guy and then you decided to post on a message board humiliating the poor person. What is in bold is a perfect example of being a jerk. The "cronies" only exist in your head. There are a lot of people on this board that have to repeatedly call you out on your blatantly stupid comments. Its been this way for years and years, all the way back to the older forums. You never learn your lesson to just be a good and decent human being. You starting a thread to report you being a jerk to this poor APP who was just trying to do their job is what is so pathetic.

Stop being an embarrassment. Please socially distance from this board until football season.

Like I tried to express, Appin Va, if I had money to burn, I would buy season tickets for everyone and their families on this board provided they would fill the seats. I love change for the better and moving to FBS was for the better. Only it priced me out except when I buy individual season tickets from members of this board.

If the board bought you two season tickets in section 111 would you promise not to post for a year?
