If that's how he feels why won't he put us back on the schedule? They got us last time out but our squad is at a whole new level and I'd love to see it at out on the field. Coach Clark says he'd love to play any of the FBS schools in the state but they are dodging us. If you don't want us on the schedule that's fine but don't go around talking some talk that you refuse to back up on the field.

I have always admired what Clawson has been able to achieve at WF. But that was a stupid statement to make publicly. As if our players need any additional motivation...

Apparently it wasn’t supposed to be public but some wires got crossed and that was tweeted out by the beat writer. Useful for the old bulletin board nonetheless.

I don’t know man. Agree ZT is more talented, but Taylor threw for 370 and no turnovers despite little help from the running game. He did struggle against other P5s, but he was most of our offense that day.

I also would not lay that on Lamb. I think ZT has more juice but Lamb did a good job that day. Gotta lay that one on kicker and their team made some plays and we didn’t.

But I like the Clawson attitude and agree if you say it own it. Our boys just need to to take the wood to them this time.

This would be a great rivalry every couple years at minimum. Would love a regular home and home again and it would be good for both programs.

Why would a coach give bulletin board material like that? I love that he realized it was seen by App and now is hiding from it. Shows he was just talking big but in his heart he does not believe it. If I'm a coach I would be mad at players doing what he did but the head coach actually does it. SMH.

Why dodge us like they have and talk smack? We use to beat them when we were I-AA and now we are a better team. Wake Forest is better now as well but still they aren't Clemson so there is no point in it. The funny thing is I guarantee Clemson will give us more respect than Wake Forest will. I will be happy with a win but I'll be completely satisfied with a blowout win by us. I hope we can take it to these guys.

I want to thank Clawson because our team will put this in the locker room and use it as fuel. I beg of our SBC opponents, Wake Forest, and Wisconsin please talk smack. We suck. We aren't good enough. Say it in the media. This type stuff plays into our hands. Not a smart move by Clawson. LOL

Put it outside of classrooms, on the door and on the board room of every position room, every rack in the weight room, put a billboard of it in our stadium where everyone sees it every day they are on the field. I say print up shirts with it on there and give it to every player. Have every player put it in their bio on Twitter, write it in their notebooks. Make this our motto for the year.
