Apparently it is for Millenials. I don’t get it, but I don’t get a lot of things these days.
You know millennials are in there late 20s to late 30s now, right? If you’re thinking of teens to mid 20s they’re Gen-Z.
Did I hit a sore spot?

I believe that the Quinn is being used this year as to allow a remodeling of the current home locker room. A reconfiguration and removal of the aesthetics will be done before turning over the keys.

It looks tacky.
Not as tacky as ‘Neers.
I'm not suggesting having 'Neers in the endzone, ya boomer, but i don't think having a multicolored and one word App State in the endzone looks good either. Keep it simple with App State in yellow, otherwise it looks very minor league to me. whatever, i'll live, but i'm not going to just jump up and down for everything we do just because. Ask an outsider and i'm sure they'll agree.
First, I’m a proud member of Gen-X, and I’m open to changes (except ‘Neers). I like many new things and some old ones, as well. For instance, I like the new end zones, but would love to have the Yosef head in the “App State” end zone. Like the rest of Gen-X, I’m a paradox.
I’m a Gen X as well. Is boomer a put down now? Am I supposed to be insulting people in their 70’s like my parents?
would you rather me say, ya old bastard instead? haha. the Gen-x and boomers have similar taste in these things. It's just too much and frankly doesn't look good. Keep it simple. Something along these lines looks a lot better since i guess we can't force people to pronounce Appalachian correctly, we have to cater to the illiterate people.

i made up a mock, but don't know how to post a microsoft paint image. i know, i know.. who's the old guy now.

anyway, i'll get over it. anyone know what the hill area/ where the track used to be will look like now?

Does anyone know if this is supposed to be scale for how close the hill is going to be from the field?

I think the yosef logo, as much as many of us old heads like it, is going to go back into the basement. Although it has never carried a negative association, I think many athletic departments are going to start phasing out old mascots such as this, if for no other reason than wokeness.
I don't think we have any reason to think that. Yosef was just featured on our football helmets this past year for the first time in a while -- and that helmet combo won a Twitter vote for best uniform last week.

If Yosef were depicting a minority group, we'd be in trouble. But Mountain Men aren't a targeted minority group, so we're good.

I love the Yosef logo and prefer it over the block A tbh. Hell the main reason I wanted an app flag for my front porch was so I could have the Yosef logo flying high. So many high schools use the block A which makes Yosef stand out.
I don’t see why it would be shelved after it won the most popular jersey contest and has been featured on ESPNs top helmets/jerseys of the week.

No. Just making sure you’re referencing the generation you intended to reference. I’m 36. I was a Gen Y then got reclassified against my will 😂😂😂

When we first changed, I strongly preferred the white "A" but the black "A" has grown on me. I really like it now and, although I still like the white, I think I prefer the black. I have plenty of gear featuring both.

Any new pictures of the work on the field and the hill? I'm about to go nuts...I keep trying to jedi mind trick the endzone webcam into panning to the right but it's just not working.

The video I just watched shows them using a lot of the under-track material as backfill for the hill regrading.

Makes sense...save where we can...we need the infill and that's less to haul away. Any link to that vid or was it a privately shared thing?
