I am tempted to suspend the countdown here as I feel continuing is pointless folly. I'm sure whenever we have a Rock solid game day announced we there will be at least a 50 day lead time to take this up again. What say you, continue or suspend?

I’ve never seen a GAS countdown not be here. I like the countdown, but I’ll leave it to the majority if they’d rather wait for a true game day to be announced given the circumstances

I'd say keep going until official announcement. Could always just bump the old post when it is needed for the new countdown.

Until we hear something official I'd say keep it going. Doug has been in contact with schools seeking replacement games...so it ain't over until it's over...and I love the countdown.

I agree with keeping it going, but with Morgan State being cancelled, the date will have to be adjusted at some point. I guess it's still good to keep some trace of hope alive.

Agreed.

I agree that the countdown should continue until there is an official announcement. Even then, I'm not sure it should stop. The countdown is more than anticipating kick off. Obviously, that's the central idea, but it has become a great way to celebrate our roster...player by player.

I enjoy the countdown everyday. GAS, I know it is a lot of work for you, and I really appreciate it. I hope you keep it going. It gives a sense of things being normal, in a difficult time. Go Apps!,

I luv the GAS Mountaineer Football Countdown. Keep the faith!

I say keep it going and if we get to day 1 and day 0 of the countdown and no football then restart with the number of days left when something is announced be it 14 or 21 or 50 days out. Some of the team may get shown twice but that is not a problem for me.

If we get to the end without football starting, do bios on the student staff for football. They deserve the attention.
