Re: App/CLT part 3
Yup. That was due to the defensive game plan changing on Thursday and players being confused. Jones will be running the "old" scheme with a few wrinkles. I fully expect a lot of disguised pressure. It's just a matter of if the young guys have caught on yet. This scheme is more dependent on everyone doing their job than most.AppAlum1 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 4:12 pmIf i recall correctly, Apps D came out thinking Charlotte would start one QB and they started another. So it looked like we planned for the wrong game. That would not be a problem this year. Theres plenty of game film on their offense this time.ah59396 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 02, 2020 1:15 pm-20.5 line seems a little optimistic. UNCC made it a game last year and I suspect the same this year.
I really want to see our defense perform well. My expectations for our offense are the same as last year given we return the house. But I’ll definitely be more excited if we won a 28-10 game versus a 55-30 horse race.

I oddly feel more comfortable with debastiani in the booth. He has a solid history calling plays, albeit at smaller schools.
