Sunbelt Decision on season
"Sun Belt schools to play original 12-game schedules, including 8 conference games, sources told @Stadium. 1st report by @Keff_C. Teams not required to, but may replace canceled nonconference games as needed. Sun Belt title game could be pushed back 1 week to Dec. 12, source said"

Re: Sunbelt Decision on season
I figured the G5 conferences will take what they can get and not put restrictions on their schools scheduling. It will be tough for some teams to get replacements for all OOC games. Certainly at the level of OOC competition that they previously had. However, it may allow for some G5 to G5 scheduling to occur that may not have otherwise, i.e. ECU and App maybe but probably get into a pissing match over who hosts game.

I figure all the independents are going to keep anything they can, if they don’t cancel their individual seasons...Appstate88 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 10:41 amWe owe UMass some payback.

Re: Sunbelt Decision on season
I’m not sure if I have read the answer to this question and this is as good a place to ask it. Is there a certain mark regarding number of cases which would dictate whether schools (mainly in NC) allow fans and go “somewhat normal”? I just read that in NC cases dropped for a 4th straight day. I figured schools like App had to have reached a drop dead day for the current decisions. If in, say 2 weeks the state is at around 500 per is that a comfortable level to rethink a playing decision?

I wouldn't think so. I don't see any scenario where we (or other conferences) would move backwards, even if things actually start to get better.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 8:43 amI’m not sure if I have read the answer to this question and this is as good a place to ask it. I think they punted as long as they could to reach the current decision. Giving less than a month for schools to line up any OOC play.
