Just announced, Campbell on 9/26 at home.
Our athletic department
Why did you post this BTK2000?
Before COVID we had Morgan State and UMASS at home. Now we have UNCC and Campbell. I think DG has done well to get 10 games, given we are coming off a great season.

Not cool. Might be your style, but go try and get teams to schedule us and let us know how you do.

Since covid
Charlotte added- duke, unc
Troy added- BYU
Southern added- army
Ark state- Kansas state
Lala- Iowa state
Mtsu added- army
All the added games were solid g5 or P5 teams.
Appalachian state has added
Charlotte- they have gotten better but still not as exiting as wake or Wisconsin
Cambell- a non scholarship fcs team

Apples and oranges. You're comparing our two road games against our two home games. We lost Morgan State and UMass. We gained Charlotte and Campbell. I'd say it's a wash and that's doing pretty well in a year when few are motivated to book a tough OOC game. Charlotte is seen as an easy W for those ACC schools, so they have the inside track. BYU is independent so they're building an entire schedule. That one is about matching up the dates. GS booked Army because they have a former head coach who is now the HC at Army, so....Contacts. I get that you're disappointed, but whining just isn't a good look on anybody.

If you are going to bi$##, at least get your facts straight:
Charlotte added UNC and App State. They were already scheduled to play Duke this season.
Campbell offers Schollies and has since the 2018 season:

All the games you mentioned are road games. We could still add a solid team for an away game but its unlikely because it seems no one close wants to play us. I'm not sure how we could pay a g5 team to play us at home with likely 50% or less capacity

I can’t believe anyone is criticizing our athletic department RIGHT now. My god everything is F’d up and programs are cancelling left and right. Who exactly do you criticizer guy really think we were going to get to play this quickly? We will hemorrhage money this year and there is no money game. Is a trip to Utah really a great idea for a team in the East? Who is ECU got at home? And very few peer or P5’s would want us as their single OOC game.

It is frustrating to see that list but its not that DG didn't literally contact every team with an opening. I know it sounds arrogant to say this but I believe this really is the case where we weren't a desirable match up for a lot of folks especially in our neck of the woods.

We are a senior laden, veteran team that is top 25 material. We are not going to be a P5’s option A for an opponent. We called, we asked, we were told no thanks. Do you have evidence to support your insinuation that we dropped the ball?

Any game is a good game at this point. No P5 seems to want to play us this year, certainly not in Boone, so getting the 6 home games is good to get that revenue.
Just got to hope a P5 gets desperate and needs us to play at their place, at this point I'd say most mid-tier P5 would just do without a game rather than pay us to come there and possibly lose. Real long shot would be a H&H with a P5.

Isn't The WEAK still searching for OOC? Or still ducking us?

See that 9/5 is tabbed on ASU site as WF TBA. Might have a chance they are open.

Neither school can host a game on 9/5 with fans in the stands because we will still be in Phase 2 restrictions.

Could they even play in NC without fans due to the 25 person outdoor gathering rule?
I do assume if we play that weekend it will be outside NC.

To me, the fact that our AD is having trouble findIng any quality opponents is a sign we have arrived. This is the ultimate respect of our team. I say, It’s great to be a Mountaineer! We are no longer taken lightly by even the biggest programs. Some even fear the Mountaineers. Our program has accomplished so much in just 6 years of FBS play. Overall record of 61-17. 6 seasons in a row with winning records, 5 consecutive bowl wins, 4 Conference Championships with 4 different head coaches (Satt, Ivey, Drink and Clark)... Keep the culture boys and keep climbing. It’s time to go make more history with the cards we are dealt.
