Re: Schedule
I live in the Upstate and we had been hearing Clemson was likely to go with either Akron or The Citadel for their OOC. Now, Akron has shut down along with the rest of the MAC and The Citadel had 35 players not report to school because of Covid concerns. Date is 9/19 and we are open of course. I would prefer ND for multiple reasons, but a game against Clemson wouldn’t be bad either.

Clemson would be an outstanding replacement for Wake.TractorApp wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2020 6:13 amI live in the Upstate and we had been hearing Clemson was likely to go with either Akron or The Citadel for their OOC. Re: Schedule
I can't see any of the top AAC teams wanting to schedule a strong OOC game at this point. This season is all about conference record for them. They don't need strength of schedule because their conference schedule is viewed as so much better than any other G5. Their focus will almost certainly be to focus on maximizing conference wins and ride the conference strength to whatever post season happens. All that is based on the season and post season even happening which is becoming more doubtful by the day.

Re: Schedule
Update this morning:
ODU is canceling all fall sports now so maybe we can get the Wake game back on the schedule?

We should tell them “Sure we will play you now, but the game will be in Boone. Take it or leave it”DontPlayWithYosef wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2020 11:28 amUpdate this morning:

Not sure App St. wants to play a team that rarely passes the ball... Halloween still hurts.

Re: Schedule
So our Federal Government has given the States the freedom to chose how to operate and that’s the problem? Isn’t that how a republic is suppose to operate? Or are you more of a central government control guy?

Re: Schedule
Back to the topic, might have missed it but UNCC has scheduled UNC and Duke and are in conversations with ECU. Have we even issued any statements about replacements for our out of conference games?
