A few takeaways from Shawn’s interview.

1st- Shawn Clark is awesome. A Mountaineer through and through!

2nd- Is there a chance Jacoby Pinckney (VT transfer) plays this year? Shawn made it sound like they are awaiting word on his eligibility.

3rd- Excited to hear Cam People’s is at 100%. I know there were questions if he would be all the way back by the season

4th- Shawn sounds extremely pissed off at Wake. Sounds like Wake didn’t lift a finger to make this game work. Again I’ll say ODU was 1-11 last year, we were 13-1. That’s your reason right there.

5th- Pumped to get confirmation that Elijah Diarrassouba is indeed back. It was rumored but never saw it confirmed.

6th- I NEED App State football. I pray we get a season, and can’t wait!

Just finished listening to all three Coaches (Clark, Peterson, Jones). I loved every second of all three; though Clark talking Wake was the best! What I appreciate about all three of them is how genuine and down to earth they all seem. There was none of the used car salesman rah rah bull crap you tend to hear from college coaches. It was just simple, direct answers. The jury is out on how well the coaching staff performs but for me the early returns are amazing. I love the staff Coach Clark brought in and I have a feeling App State football is going to be a force for years to come!

Seems like a good place to ask as any. Is the campus, team or Boone for that matter seeing any real increase or outbreaks of the virus? UNC is obviously experiencing some issues.
