ESPN plot
I think this whole business of no/limited fans at games is a big ESPN plot to get 100’s of thousands of fans to pay or pay more to see their teams play on ESPN 3 or other pay per view means.

Re: ESPN plot
I received an email from ESPN+ a few days ago about how the subscription price was going up from $4.99 to $5.99 a month but since I was a customer already my price was was staying at $4.99 for another year...so maybe but I don't think so.

Re: ESPN plot
OMG, that's a huge increase. Just kidding, but I am actually hoping more games will be carried on regular ESPN channels since there will be less supply of games to pick from.kornegaylw wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 12:09 pmI received an email from ESPN+ a few days ago about how the subscription price was going up from $4.99 to $5.99 a month but since I was a customer already my price was was staying at $4.99 for another year...so maybe but I don't think so.

Re: ESPN plot
A quick spin on the ol’ Google machine shows that the average prime time audience for college football on ESPN is about 8.5 million. Does an extra 20-100k move the needle so much that it’s worth engineering a global pandemic? Inquiring minds want to know.

Re: ESPN plot
The most ingenious part of the plot was when four of the 10 conferences canceled their seasons entirely and some others canceled OOC play, just to throw everyone off the scent.

ESPN Plus is well worth the monthly subscription for me. Outside of being able to see many App State football and basketball games, the UFC undercard fights are nice, along with the other sports it offers.

Agreed. It works every time and for the price you get so much content./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 1:08 pmESPN Plus is well worth the monthly subscription for me. Re: ESPN plot
I was going to cancel after spring sports ended... but at $12.50 for the ESPN/Hulu/Disney+ bundle, it's not worth canceling unless you're dropping all three.
