Unfortunately I’d say that might be the final nail...I hope I’m wrong.

Like clockwork after students return to campus.
Whether we have a season is going to come down to whether everyone collectively decides they can put “amateur” athletes in a bubble for four months.

Re: COVID cluster connected to Football team
I’d like to know if any were symptomatic or if this is just a result of testing.
Me neighbor, a nurse, just tested positive (along with 3 members of her family). None showed any symptoms other that one who had a headache (which may or may not have been related). I know many have a very tough time with the virus, but it seems just as many, or more, get it and don’t even know.

Re: COVID cluster connected to Football team
The ability to play football this fall is directly related to the ability of the players, coaches, trainers, staff, etc, to practice social distancing, wear masks, wash hands, etc. In other words to do the opposite of what most other college student their age are doing. Like Coach Moore used to say, 'what are you willing to sacrifice?' This thing spreads seemingly exponentially and if anyone associated with the team lets their guard down, well too many others catch it. Hopefully this serves as a lesson and extra motivation for the rest of the team and after the allotted quarantine time we can still salvage a season.

We aren’t the first program to have a cluster, and won’t be the last. Not really sure how the season is supposed to happen when this is going to happen to every team.

What truly matters more to App, the players well being, or money. If they decide the latter then I don't ever want to hear them claim a thing about how much they care for students and athletes.

Please get off your high horse. You think we are raking in cash with our Sunbelt TV deal and our road trip to Marshall? We are playing because our players, coaches, and university love this game. This virus is little to no threat to guys our players age.

We are also playing because we’re in serious dept and serious trouble if we don’t. Let’s not kid ourselves either.Boroneer10 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 9:14 pmPlease get off your high horse.
