It sucks that this years games will be missed by live audiences, for the most part. However, I believe it will pay dividends in the years to come. 2020 should be a monster year for App in regards to national media attention. Especially, if we can manage to end the season with an unblemished record and at least play in(and hopefully win)a big time bowl. I look forward to seeing how this shapes our landscape. It’s Great To Be A Mountaineer!

It's great that it focuses mainly on App being the best of the G5. I'm glad we are getting some due recognition. Unfortunately they still had to slide in those "little guy" comments in regards to us vs P5.

It also reaffirms that the AD's of App and UNCC are trying to create a rivalry by saying they will play each other every year that they can have an open spot.

I understand why, but i'd still prefer it be East Carolina.

Nice article about App and the G5

https://www.espn.com/college-football/s ... all-season
Thanks for posting this. As an outsider, it put together the growing excitement about App football that has gotten my attention as well.

The situation facing App football (and everyone else) can be described as a "crisis". After reading this article it is obvious App still has a lot of momentum moving forward.

Interestingly, the "word" "crisis" in Mandarin Chinese is made of two Chinese characters: one for "danger", the other for "opportunity". I think App is in a position now to take advantage of the "opportunity" part of the Chinese word, "crisis"."

Yes, more eyeballs will be watching App play on TV this year. With abbreviated schedules and people like the Pansy 12 and the Little 10 opting to suck their thumbs at home there will be more eyes watching, especially from Ohio.
