Curious if anyone has seen a 2-deep depth chart that they would mind sharing? In years past, I thought that AppState athletics released one a week or two before the season started. Thanks in advance.

App State has not put one out yet but I would think they will any day now. I have no clue how the 2-deep would go for sure but I can guess at the starting lineups

QB Zac Thomas
RB Marcus Williams
WR Malik Williams, Thomas Hennigan, Jalen Virgil
TE Henry Pearson
LT Cole Garrison
LG Ryan Neuzil
C Noah Hannon
RG Baer Hunter
RT Cooper Hodges

DE Demetrius Taylor
DE Elijah Diarrassouba
DT George Blackstock or Jordon Earle
OLB Brendan Harrington
OLB Nick Hampton
ILB D'Marco Jackson
ILB Trey Cobb
CB Shemar Jean-Charles
CB Shaun Jolly
S Ryan Huff
S Kaiden Smith or Nick Ross

K Chandler Staton
P Xavier Subotsch
LS Christian Johnstone
RS Virgil

I'm going to guess that among true freshmen we most likely see Christian Horn, Nate Noel, Stephen Passeggiata, and Stan Ellis. I would also be curious to see if Tommy Wright or Eli Wilson see time. From a depth chart standpoint I don't think we need them to play but they were really good in high school as well so I wonder if perhaps they see a good bit of time.

We have to remember that no player will have this year count against them so we can technically play every true freshmen and still redshirt them again next year if we wanted to do so.

Thanks OP. That really helps me to get to know the players and expected positions. The Noah Hannon guy is supposed to be real good. Is that right? Or was it someone else on the Oline?

Does the eligibility rule apply to seniors as well, or just freshman/underclassman?

Ryan Neuzil and Noah Hannon both are probably on NFL teams radar.

I think Cooper might be our best , or will be. Interested to see Noel, under the radar but hear he is explosive. Beat Charlotte!

I doubt it, both are excellent college players but neither are big enough to block NFL D linemen. They will both likely be back next year, which is great. They can get a masters degree.

I am told the rule applies to every player. All of our seniors could return, if they want, whether they play this year or not.

I just went with Garrison but it sounds like Anderson Hardy could be the guy. It will be interesting to see who is listed #1 in the game notes this week.

They are and so is Hunter. Hannon is going to be labeled too small to make it in the NFL but would probably be a stud in a secondary league. It will be interesting to see if he wants to come back and play for a top 25 team, be done with football, or try for at least the XFL (if it returns by next year) or CFL.

He is a stud but just lacks the size the NFL wants. Hannon is probably a top 10 center, just based on his play, in the country. Neuzil, Hunter, and Hodges were All-SBC last year though and all of them are preseason 1st or 2nd team.

Imagine your son gettting his first college start and you are not allowed to be there to see him take the field. WTHeck  Call your Governor 919-814-2000 and ask him WTH! #GoApp, #beatUNCC

That wouldn't satisfy most on here - their rights to assembly are being denied --- Personally I would be 100% for parents to attend - I will leave the other decisions to Gov. Cooper

I know DG has been working on this and I sent someone I know in the Governors office a note 10 days ago Asking them to mention this to the Gov.

Wondering. If we have a Senior who I did NOT Redshirt: could he redshirt this year and get the extra year too?

Can y’all stop with the pandemic talk in every damn thread? We get it, some people agree with the direction, others don’t. But damn if I’m not getting really sick and tired of reading it everywhere.
