Any plans for socially distanced watch parties for the game this Saturday? Looking for the Mooresville / Lake Norman area specifically.

I know most alumni chapters are not doing viewing parties, at least for September, because of restrictions at bars and such that would normally host us. But good luck to you!

I'll be watching at my house, usually leave the door unlocked so if anyone wanted to stop by they are more than welcome!

Guess I'll watch the game at home. I can't recall the last time I watched a home game on TV. Sad. But on a brighter note, I got tickets to the Marshall game today!

I would love to. What are the chances they would let us get away with that.

GO APPS!!

That’s usually my spot if I don’t watch from home and I don’t go to the game. I’ve been working on my outdoor viewing space in my backyard. Enough for 4-5 to spread out and have their own space. Upgraded to fiber last month so the reception is awesome.

I wonder that myself. I haven't tangled with ASU police since they threatened to hold up my diploma over 7 parking tickets.....43 yrs ago.

As much as I'd like to show up Saturday and tailgate then camp outside the fence to watch the game, you know repercussions would fall back on out athletic department, ultimately hurting what we love. I hate to admit it but that sombitch in Raleigh has got us by the short hairs on this one. Come up with a creative way to support the team that doesn't involve the risk of political retribution and I'd be all in. But we will gather at my place or a friend's house to cheer them on this weekend.

I know we could view the game at the Landing restaurant on Slanting Bridge road. Either inside or on the patio. Anyone interested?

Not watch parties, but H2 in Cornelius and Harvey's in Huntersville will probably have the game on. App Grads own those two business. Both offer a good brunch and lunch on Saturday's! :-)

I’ll be in Boone this weekend and my in laws have graciously offered to watch the kid. My wife offered to drop me off at the stadium to try and sneak a few peeks of the game. The weather will dictate whether I take her up on the offer. Maybe I’ll see a couple of you ding bats there...

Careful using that kind of language around here Beau 🤣. I’m in Greenville SC. Anyone else in this area?

I wonder how many will join the usual tree huggers behind the scoreboard.
Also is there a good view from the new dorm? They may like a few guests.

We'll need a set of fans on the SE side hill closest to the scoreboard and fans on the NW side hill by the practice facility to get the APP-STATE (protest) chant going. Make it a parent's protest so everyone is protected by the 1st amendment.

Do we need a permit to protest? If so, need to get that paperwork filed with the town.

I go under Slanting Bridge every time we hit the water since my family's boat is stored at Mountain Lake Marina. There used to be an App flag on the 1st dock on the right once we got under the bridge going out to the main channel but I haven't seen it there in a while. Looks to be an App fan, assuming the block A on their pontoon is for App, across from Lake Norman Marina off Scalybark Ln.
