APP STATE / 49'ERS WX TRENDS
FRIDAY PM UPDATED:
Looking over the data for Saturday in Boone, fog may be thicker the pea soup up that way. If it settles across the stadium zone, fog may hang in through first quarter or half. If that's the case, expect a lot of field shots from the ESPN2 cameras. Periods of rain and drizzle through the day, with some breaks at times.
-----------------
**WED UPDATE**
Second half of the game likely soggier than the first half of the game.
----------------
This Odd COVID19 world.... Let the season begin.... W/O Fans... sigh.
For those who might be "wandering" around the Boone zone this Saturday pack the rain gear. Showers will be a part of the forecast from late morning through the game. Rain expected to ramp up as the day unfolds.
Temperatures of mid to upper 60s are expected for the morning and through the game.
GO MOUNTAINEERS!

temperature looks great, but I hope the potential rain doesn't limit our play call. I'd like to see a good mix of run and pass so that we don't make Charlotte's work easier.

Seems like a copy and paste of last year. Other than the weather delay game, felt like it rained every game

The weather delay last year was crazy and it did rain every game except the Championship Game in December.

Left my house that day with my son. We are 3.5 hours away. We had T shirts on and needed the AC. Reached North Wilksboro and the temp reading in my truck kept dropping. We stopped at Bojangles just inside Boone to eat. The wind about knocked us over. Checked into hotel and layered up. It was brutal by all accounts that night.

FTR, it was just last year and yes, the weather was brutal (High winds with sideway rain mixed with snow in second half) . I also went to stinksboro 2 years ago, and that night was filled with heavy down pours and some fog. Basically, a big humid sloppy mess. I don’t like that place.

Re: APP STATE / 49'ERS WX TRENDS
Wasn’t sure where to ask but is anyone planning to “watch” the game from somewhere outside the stadium?
