Called Teresa Eggers-App State Ticket Office and was notified that we received a small allotment of tickets for the Marshall game. She has requested more tickets but recommended that I call Marshall directly. I called and have 5 tickets in the Upper Level Section 107 (35 yd line). Their #: 304-696-5854. See you at the ROCK in October and hopefully, a bunch of you in Huntington!!!

Did the Yosef Club make an announcement of the Marshall ticket availability? This is the first i’ve heard about visitors tickets.

Not that I know of. That's why I went through the Marshall ticket office.

I just picked up 4 tickets on the App State sideline 30 Yard Line, Row 56 for $43 Each including Fees on Herdzone.com. Their official site

You cannot pick your seats, (you enter your quantity and it selects them). They are mobile tickets.

It's really a shame that a state's borders determines if you can attend a football game or not. However, I encourage as many App State fans as possible to buy tickets and make the trip.

I saw a tweet this morning from the Marshall football account encouraging their fans to buy tickets because App fans had bought a lot of tickets yesterday. It seemed as if they were really afraid of being outnumbered in their own stadium.

I know a good many have placed "orders" through the ASU ticket office but they haven't, as of Wednesday midday, let us know anything...other than that they are working the requests and hope to let us know something soon. I'm not sure what the hold up is. I'd go ahead and buy through Marshall if I knew the request wasn't going to be able to be fulfilled through our allotment.

Hotel Rooms in Princeton, WV (2.5 hours from Huntington) and Beckley, WV (2 hours from Huntington) are in the $110 range AAA Rate through the Marriott and IHG websites.

Room rates are actually very reasonable in Huntington for next weekend. Maybe they don't realize how many we might bring.

Agreed - especially considering Huntington is *relatively small and doesn't have an insane amount of rooms in the market. I booked at the DoubleTree downtown a couple of weeks back and the rate, for 2-evenings and at a fully refundable rate, was sub $180 total for both evenings. Not bad for a game weekend right in town.

Don't waste your time trying to go through App, just buy them directly from Marshall's ticket office. Would love to go, but can't unfortunately, so i'm hoping to see us outnumber their fans

Last game I went to in Marshall we had a flat tire on the turnpike . It was the first turnpike I’d ever been on. Also the group next to us got tired of the Marshall male cheerleaders leading the big flag in front of us and proceeded to grab it as it came by , making them fall to the ground. Oh the things you see as a 10 year old. Police escorted him out.

This is the only time I ever want to hear a “We are...App State” cheer. Ever.
