72 hours from now. 72 HOURS FROM APP ST FOOTBALL!!!
I'm making my menu plans right now. Trying to decide on a host of football foods or a big meal. What are you guys planning?
Anyone gonna tailgate from home? Anyone find any watch parties that will still be held?
Man I love this time of year.

I plan on lots of dips and chips and pork chops. With some good old fashioned brewskis. When it gets colder, chili, cornbread, and other good cold weather food.

Picked up some Carolina Gold Spicy sauce made in SC last weekend, may be appropriate to throw on some chicken Saturday.

Classic Burgers and Dogs on the grill. Grill up some corn-on-the-cob and potatoes with it.

yep, I'm thinking lots of chips, dips, wings etc, or just one big thing. Haven't decided yet. There will be beer. And if we lose, scotch. Lots of scotch.andrewsforASU wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 12:42 pmI plan on lots of dips and chips and pork chops. With some good old fashioned brewskis. see, that's what I want to do, but it's gonna be 84 and rainy here on the coast, so humidity won't be ideal. Can't wait for cold weather. Got a new App sweatshirt I can't wait to wear. If we're allowed to go to the game, I'm hoping to wear it in November at the CCU game. One of my best friends works there, and she went there, I'm hoping she can score us some tix.

Has been a great year for jalapeños in the Sandhills. Jalapeño poppers and wings with Alabama White Sauce, SC Mustard Sauce, Eastern Vinegar Sauce, and Piedmont Dip on the side.

I am interested in this "Piedmont Dip" you speak of. Google is basically just saying it's barbecue sauce.Blackshirt68 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 10:00 amHas been a great year for jalapeños in the Sandhills. Lots of wings! It's our tailgate tradition to start game 1 with wings whether home or away. None of them "Saucy nugs" though...real man wings!
Body stuck in Gaston County...heart stuck in Boone! Go Apps!

Re: What is on your menu for the game?
what do you stuff your peppers with? When I first discovered them in the early 2000s, I made them with cream cheese, eastern carolina chopped bbq with a shot of vinegar sauce, wrapped in bacon and grilled. Addictive. Bad thing was all my friends were constantly asking me to make them...for years.MrCraig wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 10:37 amI am interested in this "Piedmont Dip" you speak of. Lexington style bbq sauce is often referred to as dip. It could be that. And it's good!fMrCraig wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 10:37 amI am interested in this "Piedmont Dip" you speak of. I've decided to go with breakfast followed by queso dip with chips for the game, and either pizza or wings or both afterwards. Thinking about trying that new cheeseburger pizza from Dominos...anyone tried it? It looks like it could be really good or really bad. Wish it could Sollecito's or even Godfathers.
