In my first post I stated I had abandoned my fifty plus years as an University of Southern California fan, and was in search of a new team. I had narrowed that search down to Georgia and App State.
I have decided I will now become a Georgia Bulldog fan, (not that it matters to most people). I just wanted you to know.
I want to thank everyone for their interest in me becoming an App fan, answering my questions about App football, and especially the offers to buy me an App T-shirt and game tickets. I am deeply touched by that.
So, I will still keep an eye out for the Mountaineers on TV, but my attention will now be directed toward Athens.

GA is a fine team... good school.
But obviously you do not understand what being an App State football fan experience is all about.
You will see in the coming years, Ga will end up like your recent USC Trojans, never getting to or winning The Big game.
I have watched App State football for 25 years and have only been truly disappointed less than 5 times .

Enjoy coming up short of championships as a Bulldog fan, lots of promise but not many rings. We on the mountain win rings, and lots of them.
