We’ve got some work to do. Not looking elite in the Sun Belt, much less the country right now. SMH

Did we ever get an update on whether Williams had a cramp or a hammy injury?

He didn’t look like he went for medical right away. I’d hope that’s a sign of cramp.InFor6More wrote: ↑Sat Sep 12, 2020 2:38 pmDid we ever get an update on whether Williams had a cramp or a hammy injury?
I never heard anything from Pearson the rest of the game.

Re: The UNCC Game Thread
Why all the negativity? We won. We had over 500 yards of offense. Made some mistakes. I’m seeing a lot of criticism just like last year. Guess what?! It’s the first game of the season. Things won’t be perfect. We work on the things that were weak and build upon the things that were strong. Week by week.

This Louisiana win today was huge for us. Hopefully we can meet with both teams undefeated.

A win’s a win. Especially in bad weather. Take the W against an ascendant Charlotte team and prep for next week. Looking like a heck of a tough schedule. Let’s do this!

Relief!!!
We gave them 5 big gifts (ugly) and still won by 15 (great). Not sure what to think but im happy to hang the victory flag

We have to work on fumbles. That’s what we missed most from Evans today it seemed.

I don’t think either team showed up today. I thought UNCC played cleaner. That was a crazy sloppy game by App.

Will also chip in to say from Boone (literally across the hill from Kidd Brewer) this is some of the worst weather for football in a while. It's not too cold, but that's all I can say for it. I give the Apps a B minus, but have to agree with the ESPN announcer: this year more than ever, a win is a win. On to the next one.

Re: The UNCC Game Thread
It shouldn’t be an excuse, but I can tell you the weather is absolute crap here in the high country today. I’m not surprised we had a few fumbles, especially coupled with how early it is in the season and how strange the off season has been. It’s a problem we can solve.
Penalties were more concerning for me, but when hasn’t App been a highly penalized team?
Give 'em hell!

It’s a W. I don’t feel any worse than the ETSU and UNCC games last year. Work on the mistakes, stay well, and get ready to beat the Turd.

That’s class. I believe you will. Too much depth for us along the lines. Good luck the rest of the way.

Re: The UNCC Game Thread
Both teams had a rough day with some stupid mistakes an missed opportunities. However an objective view would suggest the better team won today and it is OK to say that.
UNCC is making strides and you have an impressive coach. Good luck the rest of the season. I would love to see you not lose again this season unless you play any Sun Belt team.
