Can anyone explain to me why Boise State received 15 votes? I thought the teams that threw in the 2020 towel weren’t receiving votes.

I see Louisiana is ranked #21. It's going to be a huge game next month if both teams remain ranked.

Question: Why does the ESPN site continue to show the AP Preseason ranking that includes the B1G and PAC12? Seems like they would adjust for teams actually playing.

Give them some time to update their pages. I would imagine that will be updated by 4est.

I think they're just going by what the AP has out. Even though the AP said they'd remove the non playing teams once the in season polls get going, they hadn't yet so espn only had the pre-season polls. Today we have our first updated one with the inactive teams dropped. We should see the updated rankings for this week.

I would assume 4 SBC receiving votes is a conference record? Pretty cool, even though half the FBS schools playing this fall received votes.

I wish UNCC would beat the highly over ranked Tarheels... 11 & 12 in the polls... BS

They would be about 19 or so if not for all the teams who are not playing.
