Even though it was raining and foggy, and without any fans, I thought Kidd Brewer looked beautiful on TV Saturday. Removing the track makes a big difference. Can't wait to be there in person for a game.

The new field and unis go well together and the colors really pop on TV and in pictures.

The difference is night and day. The optics of not having the track are more significant than even I expected and I hated the track.

Completely agree. Was in town this weekend and went by the stadium for the first time since the conference champ game last season. The vantage point from the small parking lot where the emergency vehicles park up across from Quinn makes the entire place look massive. Having no track, the hill brought in, and the NEZ facility really makes it look/feel like the “big leagues.”

Agreed it looked great.
Sure it was part weather and part it’s not done yet but the NEZ was very dark looking on Saturday. Anytime an extra point or FG was attempted, couldn’t help but notice that

It will be incredible watching the kicks go through the uprights from the Miller Hill camera angle once there are screaming fans in the new seating!

The block "A" on the hill looks good as usual. I think one of our own from this board does that work.

Just think how it will look during a nice sunny day game. We usually have one about every 5 years.

All the seats on the West side looked kinda shiny for some reason. Even in the rain.

DG says when he's finished with the upgrades, App will have the best and most beautiful 30,000 seat stadium in the entire nation! I've witnessed every year since Conrad Stadium Part I (Sept. '62) and hope to make it for 10 more.
