Charlotte cancels UNC game....corona outbreak

There times on this site that I swear I'm on the GA. Southern board. Quit the passing contest and keep it to football please. I have definite opinions too, but it doesn't always mean I need to share them. Its not like any of you are going to change each other's minds.

There is a branch of LabCorp in Boone, so I would guess they are using them. They have tests with a 48 hours turnaround.

Students are able to get rapid results tests on campus. Same day results.

Just wondering if losing their starting QB played any into this?

Charlotte was going to get a much needed check for around 400 thousand dollars...I'm sure this decision was based on tests (or a test) coming back positive.

Maybe they are bummed about not having their QB but that is how things go and they never expected to win. I hope those suggesting the QB injury are joking because we all know that Charlotte is glad to take a loss to get the money and national TV exposure.

Your just going to have to trust me, they don’t have a QB to play on Saturday. They would have to move someone into that position. Now if it was up to me I would have made the move and taken the $400,000.

Then why did Charlotte announce that backup qb Don Shoffner would play against UNC
after they knew Reynolds would be out?

I think the other thing if i'm UNC is, I don't want to risk an outbreak on my team when I have my sights set on an ACC title game. Whether they were false positives or not, 3+ in two weeks might have scared them a lil bit.
