We aren’t worse than anyone. Any fanbase that’s seen our level of success over the past 20 years would be upset with what we’ve seen so far.Rekdiver wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 1:30 pmCome on man...we certainly are not worse than Stink folks.NoLongerLurking wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 1:27 pmMeltdowniest fans in college football. It’s okay to be critical and it’s okay to be happy when we do well. I’m glad we have a passionate fanbase with high expectations. You know which programs don’t? The bad ones.

Thats a shallow take. Some people can just enjoy the ride, some people can enjoy the ride but know there can be another level we can achieve. Don't take it personal, there is no right or wrong way to be a loyal App fan. I personally would have liked to see an open door for a P5 transfer to compete in camp.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 1:16 pmI’m with you. What the F is that dude talking about? Some guys on here are so ridiculous with criticism. Taylor Lamb was horrible in a few eyes. Just won. Same with Zac.Chaz wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 1:03 pmI see a QB who’s gone 24-4, won OPOY, All Sunbelt, two conference championships, two bowl games and is on every major QB award watch list all while adapting to what’s his third head coach.yosef69 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 12:55 pmDude, if you can’t see zacs drop off since the PSU game, you’re blind.Chaz wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 12:52 pmBased on his accolades and his record on the field, it’s hard to see what you’re speaking of especially when everything you post is always so cryptic.appstatealum wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 12:45 pm
I dont. Ive heard too much behind the scenes about Zac and his approach/preparation to the game, and this is 2 seasons in a row where I'm seeing that translated on the field.

Re: Campbell Game Day Thread
I felt this way when we found out so many teams weren’t even going to play this year and that it was likely teams would likely miss practice time and many players in spurts. This is in no way a normal season no matter how we do. It will have an asterisk beside it. If we are down just say 10 starters against Stink due to Covid and get our doors blown off are you going to argue it’s just another season? I doubt it. If Clemson meets Bama in the national championship and one of them is playing without 10 starters while the other doesn’t that is just another national championship? I doubt it.

Noel took full advantage of the opportunity he was given today. Kid runs hard and doesn’t want to go down. Impressed with how this team bounced back after a first half that looked like we may have a close game on our hands. Everyone that filled in today because of players out, you have done a tremendous job.

Balanced strong runner. I like his style.
Call me crazy, but the last 2 quarters we went back to the blue print. It seemed like is 1-2 quarters we were doing too much;kind of gimmicky. The stretch zone scheme is our bread and butter.

Harrington with right at 200 yards. Noel's first start with over 130 yards. No turnovers, no special team gaffs, and only five penalties. Kicker hit everything he kicked. Baby steps people. Definitely an improvement.

Another "good" to take away from this is seeing some young guys push for play time. This can do nothing but remind our starters that nothing us guaranteed, work hard every play, every game or you can be replaced.
