Re: Busy turf
I somewhat agree. There are times when I think it looks fantastic, but sometimes the lighting makes it look bad in my opinion. I still love not seeing the track around the field.

It’s suppose to look like a real grass field that was cut in two directions.Lowcountry App wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 1:12 pmNot a fan. I don’t know why we went with two shades of green.

Re: Busy turf
On a side note, this turf has a ton of that black rubber everywhere. The whole field is covered with it. Literally watch players run or tackle and you'll see black rubber spray every time. Clicked over to Citadel game and their turf was pristine. Perfect green

Re: Busy turf
Love the turf, but this was embarassing production... I’ve wondered (and been pissed off) in the past, but what in the hell is excusable for not having a down/yardage counter on the tv screen?!... SOCON Saturday is one thing, but anything with an ESPN branding?!?!?!

Re: Busy turf
I like the field with the alternating darker and lighter greens. I do wish the stripes ran the length of the field instead of sideline to sideline. For one thing, NO ONE is doing that. Secondly, stripes running the length instead of the width would give the appearance of KBS losing a few pounds. Everyone knows horizontal stripes makes the midsection appear wider.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.
