Looks like we are still having COVID issues.

The word in Boone is that we are shut down for a little bit. Georgia Southern game is in question as well. I would say we should not play it if we can't practice at all next week.

On the plus side, I hope the Cajuns have to play us in a foot of snow.

Question on practice before I agree. Do we practice in the snow these days or do we practice indoors when it snows? Snow use to be a huge advantage for us but with an indoor facility I hope we don't get tempted to go in there instead of prepare in the elements.

Happy for postponement. Guys in quarantine cannot practice. Would not have much prep time. Hopefully, we get through current and no more for rest of season

as sad as I am to have to wait so long for our next game, I'm still glad we'll still have football this season.

Relax man, it is just one game. The protocols are in place to keep the players as safe as possible and those that don't want to play can opt out. Better to play some more games than not more games in my book.

We would have to earn a chance at the title game. Assuming we do win out and the season is not cancelled I wonder if ULL would just stay in Boone instead of traveling back if that happens. It will be interesting to see once we get to that point and need to know. Right now I just hope we actually play Georgia Southern.

I'll look at the positive side. Cajuns coming to Boone on a cold December day/night. We seem to play better at the end of the year. Two months to see a possible increase in attendance policy.

I would imagine we probably do practice inside now. Maybe some outside conditioning but I doubt we run plays in that weather. We probably don't even practice in the rain.

I’m ok with this. I think the players are better off (protected) in a semi-controlled environment.

Quick observation. I’ve heard cases are spiking in Boone. Temperatures in Boone are generally 8-15 degrees cooler than most of our neighboring states (essentials putting boone a month ahead of other areas). I assume covid cases spike there before other areas. Potential indication of further spikes in November/December down the mountain.

Hmmm, Campbell shuts down in person classes due to Covid spike two days before their team is scheduled to play in Boone. Football team miraculously not impacted, says they are good to play us. Less than one week later maybe 30+ players and 9 coaches on our team in quarantine. Coincidence? Maybe, as some have noted there's also a bit of a spike on the mountain.
