Message to Caleb's Mother
Congratulations!!! - We had communicated back when I was pushing for Mitchell Stadium in Bluefield to be voted the #1 High School Stadium in the country (And it was) and you had mentioned you had been there when Caleb was playing high school ball. I had said I had followed his career since the beginning because he was the only guy from the general region of my former hometown. I have always loved his passion and drive and when he caught the TD pass I actually yelled out here in our place. My first thought was how proud you must be --- I do believe we might see him in the endzone again this season --- again - CONGRATULATIONS!!!
p.s. - my grandfather lived in Galax back in the 50s.

Re: Message to Caleb's Mother
Thank you so much! We are all very proud of him. It was hard coming from a small hs where he had so much success to walking on and not playing his first year. However, his work ethic on and off the field has driven him to do some awesome things. I am thankful we were in Texas and were able to watch the game in person. I may or may not have yelled some. Whether or not Caleb gets another touchdown is yet to be seen. He will be ready if the play is called and if not he will continue to do his best wherever he is at on the field or sideline. I am truly one blessed momma of two great App state men!WVAPPeer wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 11:39 amCongratulations!!! - We had communicated back when I was pushing for Mitchell Stadium in Bluefield to be voted the #1 High School Stadium in the country (And it was) and you had mentioned you had been there when Caleb was playing high school ball. Thank you so much! I do believe he is a good example of how determination and hard work can pay off. I think he tries to be a good teammate and someone who is coachable.

From Coach's press conference this was the old Spider 2 Wide Banana play? I think we used to run that in the backyard, always a winner!

Re: Message to Caleb's Mother
We need to put Caleb in the backfield for short yardage and let him get a rushing TD as well. Can he throw? Get the offensive trifecta with a halfback option. Why not?!

Lol that would be great. I would love to see him get the handoff and lower his shoulder and run over someone. Then again, I am mom and yes he can throw lol

Re: Message to Caleb's Mother
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I am thankful that Caleb was given the opportunity to play at App. After the season is over, I will share this thread with him. For now, Go App!
