APP STATE / GA STATE WX TRENDS

Unread post by WXAPP » Tue Nov 10, 2020 5:27 pm

Feels like a month of Sunday's since I've been sitting inside THE ROCK! I suspect, most of us have several months of Sunday's to go until the 2021 season. Sigh.

Having said that, our team is at home this week! WOO HOO!

For those heading to the game, WX trends of sunshine, a few clouds and mid 50s for the game. We'll see if the good weather trends hold. Frankly, given it's GA State, I was hoping for snow and about 32. :-) Don't hate.

As always...

I also enjoy watching those Hotlanta guys freak at the sight of the first light mountain snow shower of a looong cold KBS Saturday afternoon! It's even better when the turf turns white--endzone to endzone. Remember the fake FG play into the NEZ for a TD? The Panthers quit right there and then.

Can’t wait to be back in Boone for football this weekend!! Didn’t think I’d be attending a game this year. Hoping the weather stays this way or my wife will be dragging me out of the stands.

Re. the fake FG play, I think I was there. The Georgia State head coach called three consecutive timeouts to try to ice our kicker. We ran the fake and put 7 on the board as time expired for the half. It was wet and cold as hell that day. Sort of like last year's Georgia Southern game.

Is it just me or has so far this been the best football weather season in decades and no one can go.

In all the football games I have seen over the years I can't remember another team that was beaten before the game even started - they wanted no part of that weather - the offense would run onto the field - get 3 plays over as soon as possible and sprint back to the sideline heaters -

That is exactly how I remember it.

Not true. Best football weather involves snow. Lots of it. Especially when GaSt comes to town. Or GaSo. Or ULa.

GaSo? Snow probably, however, rain not so much.

It was the wind in the GaSo game that was the problem. Not rain.
I still think snow for a game vs the Iggles is ideal weather. Makes em uncomfy.
