I don't normally believe in boycotts; but D%&*!!!! Bojangles makes tail gate theme boxes for (ETSU, UNCW, Western Carolina, and JMU) but NOT ASU? I say boycott..... I won't be at the Bo till we have representation .

The Hell of it is that the founder of BoBiscuitWorld, Jack Fulk, was an App grad/enthusiast and Wilkesboro resident. Until his untimely death, he was an App corporate sponsor and season ticket holder. He'd have a big problem with (ETSU, UNCW, Western Carolina, and JMU) but NOT ASU!

Perhaps no one from ASU has approached Bojangles about this. Do we know for sure? Is licensing involved?

Well, Bojangles already has a yellow Bo Box, all they need to do is throw on a little black ink...and there you go. App State Bo Box is born.

I think contacting Bojangles would be a more effective message. If they get 1,000 emails/letters/phone calls from App fans wanting an App State Bo Box, I think they would be more likely to create one. If a few of us just stop eating there, I doubt they would really notice.

Silly. I seriously doubt there is some conspiracy to keep ASU off of their chicken boxes.

I second the idea of contacting them as well by email by many of the ASU faithful! Lets make that happen

I am all for a good boycott and I do love App State. However, I also love a biscuit and fries from the Bo. I am torn. I am willing to place a call and express my feelings.

I'm more likely to boycott a store that has no app gear and plenty of UNC apparel before I stop eating Bo's bisquits and gravy

Or Men's soccer, actually. They have a Div 1 team. Sadly, we no longer do.

Reminds me of a story Junior Johnson used to tell. I have had a business relationship with him and used to see him regularly before he passed away last December. It won't come across as funny here as the way he would tell it.
Anyway, Junior, who of course was from the Wilkesboro area would tell this story about these boys he knew wanted him to invest $50,000 into a chicken restaurant they were starting up. When they pitched their idea to him he said he just laughed and laughed and said "boys...ain't NOBODY gonna want to buy chicken from a place called Bojangles!!"

It would seem that given the relatively small number of members of this message board, that there is little chance we would have an effect as a boycott.

I love App State but there is no way I am not enjoying me some Bojangles whenever I am in the high country. Sadly, living in Florida, there are very few options for Bojangles available and the ones that are available just aren't as good. I really can't imagine a trip into the Carolinas where I don't eat at Bojangles at least once. In this case my fat belly wins in a landslide over my App State heart. Bojangles is just too tasty to be denied.

Last I knew Armanti owned some real-estate in Ann Arbor, but I don't complain that they don't see App gear there.

Bojangles has the only decent ham biscuit so yea, not boycott here. I don't worry about that kind of mess.

Two thoughts.

1) App may have wanted to be paid to let them use our logo.

2) I wonder if the Sunbelt would sign a deal like that for the whole conference.

I said two thoughts but one more....I wish we had the half price Papa Johns deal after a win.
